Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 12, 2026. This page is maintained by Hard Labor Marketing to explain how we handle information from visitors and clients of hardlabormarketing.com.

Who we are

Hard Labor Marketing ("HLM," "we," "us") is a marketing agency serving HVAC, plumbing, and blue-collar contractors across the United States. You can reach us at killingit@hardlabormarketing.com.

What we collect

  • Contact form submissions. Name, email, company, phone, and anything you write in the message field when you contact us or book a call.
  • Analytics. Standard traffic data (page views, referrer, device, approximate region) via PostHog and Meta Pixel. We use this to understand which content and ad sources are working.
  • Cookies. First-party cookies for session and analytics. Third-party cookies from Meta Pixel, Google, and Calendly when you use those features.

How we use it

  • To respond to inquiries and schedule discovery calls.
  • To measure marketing performance and improve the site.
  • To send ad platforms conversion signals (Meta Conversions API) so we can measure and optimize our own advertising.
  • To deliver services we are contracted to perform for clients.

We do not sell your personal information.

Who we share it with

Service providers we use to run the business:

  • Supabase (database + auth)
  • PostHog (product analytics + session replay)
  • Meta Platforms (ad measurement)
  • Google (Search Console, Ads, YouTube analytics)
  • Calendly (call scheduling)
  • Cloudflare (hosting + CDN)

Each processes data on our behalf under their own terms. We do not share personal information with anyone else except when required by law.

Your rights

You can request a copy of any personal information we hold about you, ask us to delete it, or opt out of marketing communications by emailing killingit@hardlabormarketing.com. Residents of California, the EU, or other regions with specific privacy laws have additional rights under their local law, which we will honor on request.

Data retention

We retain contact submissions for as long as needed to respond and, if you become a client, for the duration of the engagement plus a reasonable period for tax and legal purposes. Analytics data is retained per the provider's default retention window.

Security

The site runs over HTTPS. Access to our backend is limited to authorized team members and protected by unique credentials. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information you share with us.
