Google Local Services Ads

Pay per lead, not per click.

LSA sits above every Google Ad and every organic result, carries the Google verification badge, and bills you per lead instead of per click. Your reviews, your responsiveness, and your profile quality drive your rank, so we clean that up before a dollar goes out the door.

Best for

Emergency and urgent demand where a homeowner is calling the first credible name they see: plumbing, HVAC, electrical, garage door, restoration, locksmith.

Watch out

Not every trade or every market is LSA eligible, and lead volume is capped by how much demand your service area actually produces.

What sets you apart

3 structural secrets that beat your competitors.

3 things that push your ads above the competition. Most agencies skip them. We don't.

  1. 01

    Secret #1

    Strategic weekly budget setting

Spend when calls are worth the most, not when they aren't.

What homeowners judge in the first two seconds.

In the weeds

How it really works. And what we do about it.

01

How Google ranks LSA listings

Google ranks LSA providers in an auction that weighs your bid against profile quality. Its own help docs name the pieces: how responsive you are to calls and messages, how relevant you are to what the customer searched, your rating and number of reviews, your average response time, high quality photos, and the verification checks you've passed.

In plain terms: the shop that answers every call, has the most recent reviews, and has a complete profile can outrank a shop with a bigger budget. That's why we fix the profile and the phone habits before raising spend.

02

Missed calls quietly cost you rank

Google says outright that missed calls can hurt your responsiveness score. Every call that rings out after 5 PM or goes to a full voicemail box counts against you.

We set your hours to match when someone can really answer, help you set up call forwarding or an answering service, and turn on message leads so after-hours customers can still reach you without hurting your score.

03

Job types decide what you pay for

Every service you switch on in LSA is a job type you can be charged for. Leave 'drain cleaning' on when you only want water heater installs, and you'll pay for drain leads.

We go through the job type list line by line with you, turn off the work you don't want, and set service areas by zip code so you aren't paying for a call 45 minutes past where your crew will drive.

How this service works
Junk leads get flagged every week so you are not paying for them.
04

Lead disputes and credits

Google screens leads up front and does not charge for ones it marks invalid. Charged leads are re-checked over time and some are credited automatically. On top of that, every lead has a feedback survey where you can report poor quality leads.

We review the lead inbox every week, mark each lead as booked or not, and flag wrong numbers, spam, sales calls and jobs outside your area. That keeps your spend clean and teaches Google which leads you want.

05

Reviews are the lever you control

Rating and review count feed straight into profile quality. A shop with 40 recent reviews usually beats a shop with 300 reviews from four years ago.

We set up a simple ask-for-a-review routine for your techs at the end of each job, with a direct link they can text, so reviews come in every week instead of in bursts.

Which channel is right for you

Start where the intent already is.

If people are already searching for what you do, buy that search. If they are not, you have to create the reason. Here is how the three paid channels stack up side by side.

How we decide with you

One channel first. Layer the next when it earns it.

We would rather run one channel that produces booked jobs than three that produce a nice-looking report. On the discovery call we work through your trade, your market, and your numbers, then pick the starting point together.

  1. 01

    Your trade and job mix

Emergency work, planned work, or a split. This alone rules one or two channels in or out.

  2. 02

    LSA eligibility

We check whether your category and market qualify, and what lead volume is realistically available.

  3. 03

    Market size and ticket

A small market with high ticket work is a different plan than a metro with high volume and thin margins.

  4. 04

    Current lead flow

Where jobs come from today, what your Google Business Profile looks like, and what is already working before we add spend.

  5. 05

    Launch one, then layer

We turn on the best-fit channel, track cost per booked job, and only add the next channel once the first is producing or capped.

How we run it

Our process, step by step.

  1. 01

    Audit and verify

We check eligibility, gather license and insurance documents, and clean up your Google Business Profile so it's ready to rank.

  2. 02

    Build the profile

Job types, service areas, hours, photos, and business bio set up around the work you actually want.

  3. 03

    Launch and listen

We start on Maximize Leads, review every lead weekly, and dispute the junk.

  4. 04

    Tune for booked jobs

We cut job types and zip codes that don't book, test bids, and report cost per booked job every month.

Mistakes we fix

What we find when we take over.

  • Every job type turned on, so the shop pays for work it doesn't do.
  • Hours set to 24/7 with nobody answering at night, which tanks responsiveness.
  • Service area drawn as one giant radius instead of the zip codes crews actually reach.
  • Nobody checking the lead inbox, so junk leads never get flagged.
  • No review routine, so the profile goes stale and slides down the list.
FAQ

Straight answers.

Do I pay for every call that comes through LSA?

You pay for valid leads. Google screens leads when the customer first reaches out and does not charge for ones it decides are invalid. Charged leads keep getting reviewed, and some get credited automatically. If a lead was junk, you can also flag it in the feedback survey for that lead. We check your lead inbox every week and flag every wrong number, spam call, and out-of-area job.

Why am I not showing up even though my budget is set?

LSA is an auction weighted by profile quality, not just money. Missed calls, slow replies, too few reviews, missing photos, hours that don't cover when people search, or jobs not turned on for the services you offer all push you down. Budget is only one input.

Should I use Maximize Leads or set my own bid?

Google recommends Maximize Leads, and for most new accounts that's where we start. Once there's enough lead data, we test manual bids on the job types that pay you best and compare cost per booked job, not just cost per lead.

How fast can I get live?

It depends on verification. Background checks, license and insurance checks can take from a few days to several weeks depending on your trade and state. We get the paperwork together on day one so nothing stalls on our end.

Will LSA hurt my Google Business Profile?

No. They work together. Your LSA profile pulls reviews from your Google Business Profile, so the review work we do there lifts both.

Is my trade eligible?

Most core home service trades are, like plumbing, HVAC, electrical, roofing, garage door, locksmith, pest control and restoration, but eligibility changes by category and market. We check yours before you spend a dollar.
